Can meditation really increase your well being and happiness?
If you’d like an easy, relaxing way of decreasing stress and increasing your overall well-being, a large volume of research shows meditation is a powerful strategy. 
Previously, psychologists thought we all had a happiness set point at which we lived the majority of our lives. Events could cause your happiness level to rise or drop temporarily—but you would always return to your genetically determined happiness set point. Today however, research is revealing that meditation conditions a large number of neural pathways that collectively raise your happiness set point and allow you to enjoy a greater sense of well-being. Pretty cool right? Even more amazingly, results have been regularly observed in as little as 8 weeks.
